How many Fishdex entries are there, and do different times really matter?

Patch, save or timing differences may change the result. Open the source before risking progress.Use the Metal Detector on Timesville’s sandy beach to dig up the Fishing Paper. Catch three entries in each of the town clock’s six periods. When all 18 slots are filled, open the paper again to receive the Lost Key. We do not yet have a checked list naming all 18 catches.
Check first
- Get the Fishing Paper first; it is the checklist for all 18 catches.
- Learn how to move Timesville's clock through all six periods before attempting the full set.
- Count filled paper slots, not total casts. Duplicate catches do not fill another slot.
What to do
- Dig up the Fishing PaperTake the Metal Detector to Timesville's sandy beach and use it at the buried-paper location.
- Fill the current period's three slotsFish at the Timesville spot until all three entries assigned to the current clock period appear on the paper.
- Advance the town clockMove to another period and fish again. A duplicate catch does not create a new entry.
- Repeat for all six periodsThe paper is complete only when it shows 18 filled entries in a 6×3 pattern.
- Inspect the completed paperOpen the Fishing Paper once more after all 18 entries are filled. This separate inspection awards the Lost Key.
The paper shows 18 filled slots. Open it once more and the Lost Key appears; the key is used in the separate windowed-room secret.
Do not keep grinding one clock state after its three unique fish are recorded. The other fish only appear during the other five time periods.
