ANSWER

Interact with the soccer ball in Mellow's bedroom, then click the ball again when it is just below the white line labeled KICK and Mellow's foot has finished pulling back. There is no separate kick key. Keep the rhythm to build the score; Footwork Master requires 100 points in one full-release session.

Check first

  • This is an optional bedroom minigame, not a required body-part or ending step.
  • Use a mouse and close inventory or other overlays before starting a scored attempt.
  • The paid release achievement target is 100 points in one session; demo practice may not award the Steam achievement.

What to do

  1. Start the minigameInteract with the soccer ball beside the stairs in Mellow's bedroom until the SCORE/HI-SCORE display appears.
  2. Watch one cycleKeep the pointer near the ball and watch the foot, ball and KICK line instead of clicking on the music beat immediately.
  3. Click the ball at the cueClick again when the ball is just below the KICK line and the foot is finishing its pull-back. This second click is the kick input.
  4. Keep a steady visual rhythmThe ball's lowest point or shadow is easier to follow than the soundtrack. If the score stops, wait for the next complete cue rather than mashing.
  5. Reach the optional targetContinue until the live score reaches 100 in one session for Footwork Master. Leave autoclickers and macros out of the route; community timing aids are not reliable across builds.
YOU'RE DONE WHEN

A successful click adds a kick to the score. Reaching 100 points in the full release awards Footwork Master; the minigame does not gate the main route.

STILL STUCK?

If the ball never enters the SCORE state, you clicked nearby bedroom decoration rather than the active minigame. If clicks stop landing, mute the music if needed and return to the ball/foot cue. Player reports about 94–95 BPM or 632 ms are practice aids, not guaranteed settings.

HOW WE CHECKED IT

Built from the sources below. We have not run this route ourselves unless the page says so.

Steam and Reddit players agree that this is a timed second click, not a separate keyboard kick key. Full-release guides and the achievement listing confirm the optional 100-point target. The timing cues are community observations, not an official frame-perfect rule.
